Last week I photographed artwork for a local artist’s Masters Degree. The work was fantastic and just my style; with lots of brocade and silk, in red and black. I really enjoyed this type of work and would like to get more jobs like this! Any artists out there need their work documented?
Just finished editing some photos from a shoot with Kerry X, an ex-Hobartian who does burlesque in Melbourne. We are both very pleased with results and I have plastered them all over several of my on-line galleries including facebook and myspace.
Also in March I entered two images into the Weld Echo exhibition at the Long Gallery, Salamanca.
The images I used were from a previous trip to the Weld forests, but recently I went down to the proposed site where Forestry want to put through a road and bridge. The area on the other side of the river is relatively untouched rainforest and inaccessible by vehicle.
This area is quite remote. A beautiful place to have lunch and relax – even a swim if you can handle the chilly water.
You can contact the Huon Vally Environment Centre for information on walks and directions to the Weld Valley.
These images taken at Cockle Creek are now available from the Wilderness Society Shop in Salamanca or directly from me.
This one is a greeting card and also a small magnet >

~ Not a lot to report of late except that I have entered the Rainy Days exhibition which opens tonight @ Cube Gallery.

~ I have lots of ideas ticking over in my head and have felt pretty inspired – I just wish I had an office or a studio so I could properly get to work on few of these things.
